Blending Begins

The blending for the 2009 vintage wines is now underway, with Sauvignon Blanc being the first variety to be looked at.

Simon and Tim are currently looking at 31 different parcels of fruit picked from the three regions within Marlborough. They then have to blend and craft these parcels into our three distinctly different and award winning Sauvignon Blanc’s, the Marlborough, Awatere Valley and Kekerengu Coast wines. Each wine will best express the characteristics of the regions and terroir.

Simon and Tim are very pleased with the potential of the wines, and believe the 2009 vintage to be strong and expressive.
