The first day of spring has sprung and most of the pruning is done. Jeremy has been overseeing the pruning across all our grower sites as this is one of the most important times of the year; setting the vines up for the coming growing season.

Astrolabe launches "little sister" brand Durvillea

Durvillea is a 'little sister' wine for established label Astrolabe Wines. It's made by Jane's husband Simon Waghorn. Taking responsibility for the wine after Simon's actually made it are his wife Jane, and their three daughters Meg, Libby and Arabella - with lots of help from the Astrolabe team. "This is a great chance for all of us to be more actively involved in the industry that's been a big influence in all of our lives."- Jane
Blending Begins

The blending for the 2009 vintage wines is now underway, with Sauvignon Blanc being the first variety to be looked at.
2009 Fruit all in!!

Our harvest is over with the last of our fruit coming in last Tuesday 21st April.
With perfect dry conditions throughout the whole of our picking schedule, the fruit is showing great promise for yet another year of stunning wines to add to the portfolio.
